Canberra Students Shine at Bulky Waste to Wonder Competition 2025
We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our students at the Bulky Waste to Wonder Competition 2025!
Out of 83 participating groups from schools across Singapore, Jazil Zafri from 3 Diligence secured 1st Runner-Up 🏆, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation in transforming bulky waste into something wonderful. The competition saw fierce competition, with School of Science and Technology, Singapore taking 1st Prize, and Raffles Girls' School placing as 2nd Runner-Up.
The award was presented by Guest-of-Honour Senior Minister of State Dr Janil Puthucheary, adding prestige to this remarkable accomplishment.
We are equally proud of our Eco Warriors team – Le Xuan, Jaehyo, and Jia He – who successfully made it to the finals. A special note of appreciation goes to Ms Cheak Supeng, the teacher-in-charge, for her guidance, dedication, and commitment in mentoring our students throughout this competition.
This achievement is a testament to the capability, creativity, and resilience of our Canberra students. It shows that with determination and innovative thinking, our students can excel alongside peers from top schools across Singapore.
Congratulations to all our participants for representing Canberra Secondary School with pride and distinction!
